Hey, I’m rutger.

I like horror movies. ANd making fun of bad ones. I collect comics, quote star trek, and sometimes buy punk records I already have on accident. Oh yeah, and I like to make games.

I’m a 3D artist and game designer, working in narrative design and have a passion for education and inclusivity :)

Last year at the game developer’s conference I had an amazing experience, along with me going back to college later in life to complete a hard-earned degree in video game development. I used to teach the History of Horror film in NYC, art classes in a juvenile hall, work on stop motion animation, and design websites for history buffs, but here I am now. I consider myself a 3D artist, but I like to code too, especially after graduating from Flatiron School right before the big COVID hit. Overall I’m a designer, creator, educator and puzzle solver.

I’m currently getting ready to head to GDC 2024 and excited about working in VR, pushing the boundaries of game design.
